MPT Studio Enjoy special performances and programs, including: percussion programs, plays, and even karaoke! Please check the Museum schedule when you arrive for the scheduled events in MPT Studio. On select Sundays throughout the school year, MPT Studio is home to the World Rhythm Drum Circus! The World Rhythm Drum Circus is a percussion exploratorium and learning playground where banging, clanging, and drumming is the name of the game. Featuring percussion instruments made of barrels, bowls, tubes and things from all over the world! The World Rhythm Drum Circus exemplifies the motto: The world is a giant drum just waiting to be played. Visit MPT Studio on Sundays during the school year from 12:30- 2:30 and 4:00 -5:00 to participate in the World Rhythm Drum Circus. Recommended for ages 3 and up. |

Royal Farms Convenience Store and Fill'er Up Station Learn how to make healthy choices in a convenient world in this mini interactive convenience store! Pretend you are the customer or employee and stock and scan various foods. Check the items in your cart against the food pyramid to see how many healthy food items you selected. The Oasis Take a break in The Oasis, a quiet room where families can lounge on pillows and read a book together, play a game or solve a puzzle. During the week, join us for Circle Times at 11:30 am, with singing and storytelling for our youngest visitors. Visiting on a weekend? Check the "Cool Things To Do" list posted inside the Museum on the day of your visit for special Circle Time events. The activites in this exhibit are appropriate for children six-years-old or younger. ALL guests are welcome but we ask adults supervise older children as they share this area with our younger guests.
